Fictional Fashion: Jean Hopkirk

Whilst some people might list their fashion icons as Kim Kardashion, Kate Middleton or Kate Moss, I sometimes like to take inspiration from fictional characters. From Breakfast at Tiffany's to The Great Gatsby, when fictional characters dress this good, it's hard not to be inspired!

Today, it's Jean Hopkirk, as played by Annette Andre (from the 60's series Randall and Hopkirk Deceased) who's wardrobe I'm admiring. Randall and Hopkirk Deceased is cheesy 60's television at it's cheesiest, but as it was filmed in the late 60's, amazing clothes are never far away...

Head to Toe Pastels:

When you keep the colour palette of your outfit the same, it gives you the freedom to experiment with different textures. Team a pastel shirt with a lace skirt of the same colour, and pair with metallic accessories for a modern twist.

I think I will always be searching for a coat as perfect as this one of Jean's. In the meantime, I'd happily settle for any of these lovelies in this season's hero shade. To stop the whole ensemble from becoming too sickly sweet, wear with some chunky black boots and skinny jeans.

Any fictional characters whose wardrobe you envy?
